Four dancers explore their own intimate meaning of saudade, the nostalgic feeling that runs through Portuguese culture. Tied to the past, but at the same time a vital part of the present, it is the act of looking forward to something that does not exist yet, and maybe never will.
Adriano Bolognino (Naples, 1995) is the winner of the Danza&Danza 2022 award as emerging choreographer. With Samia he obtained the Rum for Dans callout; Come Neve won the 2023 Danza Urbana XL callout, while Rua da Saudade was selected by NIDPlatform21 and CallforCreation/Orsolina28.
