The dancers inhabit a microcosm created from a rare 1974 recording by Julius Eastman, in which the composer performs his piece Femenine with the Sem ensemble.

Gianmaria Borzillo is an artist, performer and dancer from Sorrento. He graduated from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi. His first directing work, Under the Influence, won him the Special Mention of the Venice Biennale’s call for directors under 30.
