Seven little girls traverse history, from persecution to Israeli-Palestinian war. A sharp, poetic text that investigates the boundary between protection and manipulation, between innocence and responsibility, between what is told and what is left unsaid.
Caryl Churchill (London, 1938) is considered the most important living British playwright. Her plays deal with themes such as feminism, sexual politics, colonialism and the abuse of power. Teatri di Vita, based in Bologna, is directed by theatre and film director Andrea Adriatico. His Gli anni amari – about writer Mario Mieli – and La solitudine è questa – about writer Pier Vittorio Tondelli – were presented at the Rome Film Fest in 2019 and 2023.
