Sleeping characters in conflict with their inner void seek an instant of magnificence: the moment of their own awakening. The space around them represents the projection of an inner landscape, a perimeter around which to re-establish a physical and emotional relationship.
Gianmaria Borzillo is a dancer, performer and director from Campania. In 2020, with Under the Influence, he received a special mention in the call for directors under 30 of the Venice Biennale, under the direction of Antonio Latella, and a special mention from the jury of the Leo De Berardinis – Teatro di Napoli Award.
