In a dance that transcends the flesh and de-materialises the body, abstracting and expanding it, the invitation is to not be imprisoned in a single pattern; but rather to merge into the cosmic spectrum, in order to discover the vastness of being and the freedom that comes with it.
Clara Furey, a Canadian choreographer based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, explores sensory perception through art. Her works have been presented at prestigious international festivals including the Venice Biennale, the Festival TransAmériques in Montréal, ImPulsTanz in Vienna, Performance Mix in New York, Fierce Festival in Birmingham, B-Motion in Bassano del Grappa.
