The student-artists of the Theatre and Performing Arts master’s course at IUAV directed by Annalisa Sacchi encountered Raffaella Giordano’s work in workshop form – one of the students being in charge of reorganising her production archive, and all of them having been in creative residence in Sansepolcro. From the combination of these activities, ten 20-year-olds created a performance where, in total freedom of expression, they reread and reinvent Giordano’s legacy and, more broadly, that of Italian dance theatre.
The Theatre and Performing Arts master’s degree at the IUAV University in Venice combines in-depth theoretical studies on dance and contemporary theatre with a workshop-based approach, thanks to labs, seminars and projects led by artists and professionals active on the international scene.
