Colonial history and international conflicts in a cup of tea: a journey through the history of the opium trade in China, between the second halves of the 18th and 19th century. A reflection on the profound implications of these routes on our times.
Neja Tomšič (b. 1982) is a Slovenian visual artist, storyteller, performer and ritual maker. She works with drawing, sound and objects. She rethinks dominant historical narratives creating situations in which new understandings of the present can be formed.
