Every Sunday, a woman goes to lunch with her 90-year-old parents who, although healthy, are aware that they will soon have to face death – and that’s all they talk about. Between minimal tales and grotesque visions, the beauty of life is celebrated.
The artistic union between Mariano Dammacco, writer and director, and Serena Balivo, actress, is based on an idea of popular theatre. Balivo and Dammacco are, respectively, the winners of the 2017 Ubu Prize for best actress under 35, and the 2021 Ubu Prize for best text for Spezzato è il cuore della bellezza.
