Goldoni’s classic commedia The Servant of Two Masters follows the protagonist, Truffaldino as he struggles to deceive his masters so that he can eat his fill. A new rewrite of the original text, this production aims to inspire a reflection on the theme of inheritance. This is the first chapter of the Hotel Goldoni trilogy, which features the alumni of the dell’Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico, and is directed by Latella, special guest of Kilowatt Festival 2023.
Founded in 1936 by Silvio d’Amico, The Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico is the oldest and most prestigious Italian institution in the field of theatre training. Directed by Francesco Manetti, its teachers include Andrea Baracco, Arturo Cirillo, Massimiliano Civica, Nora Guazzotti and Letizia Russo.
