A French courtroom labels the rape of an 11-year-old girl by a friend of her older brother as consensual. Having become a woman, she decides to take justice into her own hands. Amid bunnies, toys and Billie Eilish songs, this story investigates the origins and mechanisms of violence.
Licia Lanera is an actress, playwright and director. In 2006 she founded the company Fibre Parallele, which later became Compagnia Licia Lanera. The company has produced fifteen shows to date. She is the last of three women in the history of the Ubu Award to have won the prize for best director with Con la carabina, which also won the prize for best new foreign play.
