In late 19th-century Turin, as part of the Great Italian Exhibition, six alleged Eritrean aristocrats have the whole of Italy talking. A young ministry official falls hopelessly in love with one of them.
Compagnia Asini Bardasci – which in archaic Marche dialect means “boys” – was born in 2016 from an idea by Paola Ricci (who left the group in 2021) and Filippo Paolasini. In 2018 their first production Fratellino e Fratellina received a mention at the Scenario Infanzia Prize.
