An existence on the edge between dreams and dissatisfaction, between unattainable desires and a reality that is never enough. What Gustave Flaubert describes in the renowned Madame Bovary is a story of fragile love and betrayed expectations, where every choice seems to open up a new possibility, but always leaves an unbridgeable hunger.
Director and actor Stefano Cordella has conceived and led numerous theatre projects, including the one with the company Oyes, with which he won the 2017 Next Callout thanks to the show Io non sono un Gabbiano. With Oyes he also won the 2018 Hystrio Iceberg Award as best emerging company. In the same year, he took on the role of artistic co-director of the Festival Hors, hosted by Teatro Litta (MTM) in Milan.
