The work of choreographer Michele Ifigenia Colturi focuses on a single dancing figure who, over the course of the performance, will ideally embody a tragic metamorphosis from human to deer.
Michele Ifigenia Colturi is a choreographer and dancer, graduated from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi. His research combines humanistic studies and performative practices, with a strong interest in myth and classical texts, which he has been exploring since 2015 with Kerkis Teatro Antico.
He is a choreographer and founding member of the collective Tyche, with which he has taken part in festivals such as Triennale FOG Milano, Bolzano Danza, Kilowatt Festival, Fabbrica Europa, Gender Bender, and many others. He is an associate artist with Ariella Vidach / AIEP at Fabbrica del Vapore. Since 2021, he has been leading Koinonรฌa, a dance and theatre workshop for children in Cernusco sul Naviglio. With the association B-ped, which he co-founded in 2022, he has curated projects such as TeatroLab 2.0 and Milano Freedom Zone.
