The day is August 14th, 2018. A roar rips through the air of Genoa and a cloud of dust rises among the houses: the Morandi Bridge has collapsed. In the deafening echo of an absence that devours everything, a modern Hamlet finds in storytelling the light to escape the darkness.

An emerging figure in the Italian theatre scene, Pietro Giannini, born in Genoa in 2000, is an actor who graduated from the Accademia Silvio d’Amico. He began his artistic path as writer and producer of his own works in 2022, and won the 2023 Scenario Award with La costanza della mia vita.
