A choreography on the fascination that classical antiquity exerts on contemporary man, in an interpretation capable of creating atmospheres that touch the spectator’s conscience, not only through poetic gesture, but also through light, scenery, and music.
Former director of the Dance Sector on the Venice Biennale, Virgilio Sieni is one of the most established dancers and choreographers on the European scene. In 2007, he founded the Accademia sull’arte del gesto (Academy on the Art of Gesture), set up to create and deepen dance training for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
