Between a sofa and a bright screen, images, news, and laughter
overlap. Two bodies move through this flow and fluctuate between irony
and vulnerability, evoking the rowdy rhythm of 1990s variety shows and
the frenzy of contemporary news.
Laura Beschi and Alessio Scandale are an Italian choreographic duo based in Berlin. Both graduated at the SEAD – Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, they are long-time collaborators of the Berlin-based company cie. toula limnaios, for which they have created and performed in numerous productions that have toured internationally. Their work as choreographers include Relazioni 2.0, Quanto, and Parlez-moi d’amour.
