From Flashdance to Dirty Dancing, from Fame to Saturday Night Fever, iconic gestures from 1980s pop culture take over the urban space. Bodies break free and involve who watches into a collective dance becoming ritual and celebration.

Lost Movement was founded in 2011 by Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo, now artistic director. Their works have been presented in contexts including the Idaco Festival in New York, the Solo Dance Contest in Gdańsk, and Platform14 in Berlin. They have received awards including the Movin’ Up Performing Arts Special Prize 2022/2023 and Danza Urbana XL 2025.
