The Homeless Circus is a fairy tale. So like all good fairy tales it starts with a classic “Once upon a time,” but in this story there are no great kings, no handsome princes, and no beautiful princesses. This is the story of a small, simple boy with very little luck who will arrive, after a short journey, at a strange circus. Through a journey between darkness and light, we will be able to lighten the shadow that the little boy carries.
The Lampisteria Teatro company was born in 2022 from Pierre Jacquemin and Viviana Dorsi’s desire to create subtle shadow and object theater. Circus Without a Roof is the company’s first work.
