HIDE is a cavern pervaded by an inhuman vibration, an ancestral drone, resembling a roar-melt: an enveloping, uterine, magmatic, ambiguous sound matter, produced in real time by the performer’s body, hovering between animal and human, animate and inanimate, looking and being looked at, concealment and appearance. Finally, the emergence of a rhythmic climax of music and the ecstatic metamorphosis of forms.

The work, currently in an early stage of research and creation, will debut on October 2024.

Edoardo Mozzanega (1988) has worked as a performer with Ariella Vidach, Antonio Marras, Alessandro Sciarroni. He won the AiR 2022 Bando with DREAM OF A TIGER. He has been an associate artist of CHIASMA since 2023.
