Leaps, collisions, and continuous transformations punctuate a physical dialogue of intimacy and precarious balance: the identity of the two protagonists takes shape and dissolves before the audience’s eyes, like an organism in constant metamorphosis.
In 2019, Elia Pangaro and Alexander de Vries founded the interdisciplinary project Darlingbuds, developing their research between dance, performance, and the visual arts. Their work has been presented at international venues and festivals such as the Romaeuropa Festival, the Venice Biennale, and Tanzwerkstatt Europa (Munich, DE).
