Three classically trained dancers move to a rhythm that is not their own: precise, pounding, irresistible. Discipline meets the energy of techno; control contends with impulse. From this contrast a vivid, physical tension emerges and transforms movement.
Michele Rizzo, born in 1984, is an Italian artist and choreographer based in Amsterdam, trained at the School for New Dance Development (NL) and the Sandberg Instituut (NL). His work spans visual and performing arts, interweaving dance, sculpture, and sound into immersive installations. Among his best-known works are the trilogy Higher, Spacewalk, and Deposition.
