The power of the body transcends folklore, shatters it, and sets it free. Echoes of flamenco take shape; the flesh reveals cracks and shatters the stagnation. Everything becomes an instinctive act—vibrant and shared.
Alberto Velasco is an artist and performer trained at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Valladolid (Spain). His teachers have included Andrés Lima, Eugenio Barba, and Rosario Ruiz Rodgers. A leading figure on the Spanish scene, he has a unique and instantly recognizable style, the result of a multidisciplinary and constantly evolving vision.
