In the remotest corner of the Veneto region, Leone, the manager of a 24-hour gas station, oversees a small universe made of loneliness, alcohol, and addiction; every night sees the same characters returning to orbit, like planets with no way out. Balance breaks when he, too, starts playing slot machines.
Teatro da Bar was founded in Verona in 2017 by Enrico Ferrari, Nicolò Sordo, and Michele Lonardi, developing a theatrical language originating in bars and unconventional spaces. Director Enoch Marrella joined the company in 2024. Marrella’s acknowledgments include the 2021 Tuttoteatro.com Dante Cappelletti Award for the Performing Arts and a finalist spot in the 2024 InBox Award, while Nicolò Sordo won the 2021 Riccione “Pier Vittorio Tondelli” Award.
