Four figures play with their own images as if standing before a mirror. Inspired by the works of Cindy Sherman, Francesca Woodman, and Amedeo Modigliani, this series of moving portraits invites viewers on a journey between instants and eternity, between beauty and unease.
Rebecca Journo, a French artist trained at the Trinity Laban Conservatory in London, develops a choreographic practice on the verge of dance, performance, music, and photography. Founder of the La Pieuvre company, her works examine identity, image, and self-representation, interweaving gesture and sound in hybrid
stage settings.
