A playwright attempts to bring order to a text that keeps slipping out of hand: every scene erupts into violence, as the writing fills with family memories that should not be there. In dialoguing with an aunt, both real and symbolic, a fragile and political space opens, where words attempt to transform pain into recognition.
Born in 2002, Riccardo Iellen graduated in theatre directing from Civica Scuola di Teatro “Paolo Grassi”. His artistic research focuses on playwriting and contemporary theatrical languages, with an emphasis on identity and hybrid forms blending performance and text.
