One show, four movements. Focused on the figure of Maria, Jesus’s Mother, to tell her central role in the Islamic religion. In times of terrorism and savagery, Maryam arises as “the connecting woman”, a bridge among Christianity, Islam and contemporary culture.

Founded in 1983 by Marco Martinelli, Ermanna Montanari, Luigi Dadina and Marcella Nonni, Teatro delle Albe produces performances based on a rigorous, refined, touching poetics, able to give theatre back its original narrative function. Their performances received awards and recognitions, in Italy and abroad.
