During the retreat from Russia, a man who was then among the missing ones, has to choose between life and death. His choice will change the destiny of his wife, daughter and ultimately of his nephew, who is still demanding an answer. It is a monologue/dialogue aimed to take off war’s historical significance, to make it a paradigm of the human condition.
An actor and a playwright, Giovanni Betto had his debut in 2010 with “Un principe, una volpe, una rosa”. In 2012, he staged the monologue “Una colomba” by Luciano Colavero, finalist at the Riccione Award, directed by Vincenzo Ercole. In 2017, he was casted for the film “Finché c’è prosecco c’è speranza” by Antonio Padovan, with Giuseppe Battiston and Roberto Citran.
