HOSPITABLE BY NATURE<\/p>\n
There are two main novelties in this edition of the festival: the launch of the large-scale European cooperation project “Be Spectactive!”, of which the Municipality of Sansepolcro and CapoTrave\/Kilowatt are the lead partners, and the opening of a theater space in Torre di Berta Square, active on each of the festival evenings.
\nIn both cases, these are actions that “open.”<\/p>\n
In the first, with “Be spectactive,” we open to Europe: we host both the absolute debuts of the first two shows produced within the project and an international conference on the active role of the spectator.
\nIn the second one, with the open-air stage, we open ourselves to the city of Sansepolcro, more and better: we want those who so far have never thought of buying a ticket and entering one of our theater spaces to enjoy the atmosphere of the festival; people will come across the shows set up in the square and we hope they will feel like stopping, sitting, watching and listening, maybe coming back the next day.<\/p>\n
Everything else is confirmed and increased: the music project “6 easy pieces,” the visual art action “Kilow’Art,” the participation of the Visionaries, that is, the non-people-at-work spectators who worked from November to May to select 9 shows that are now being programmed.
\nWe present 8 days of festival, 26 performances between theater and dance, 12 music concerts, a total of 11 premieres and previews, many side events, more than 100 artists involved.<\/p>\n
This edition is called “Hosts of Nature” because we like to think that Kilowatt-and, in generle, the contemporary scene-is for everyone, available to everyone, naturally hospitable to everyone.<\/p>\n
