{"id":30421,"date":"2023-05-31T08:20:38","date_gmt":"2023-05-31T06:20:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kilowattfestival.it\/contenuto\/kilowatt-festival-2023x\/"},"modified":"2023-06-14T15:06:22","modified_gmt":"2023-06-14T13:06:22","slug":"kilowatt-festival-2023","status":"publish","type":"contenuto","link":"https:\/\/www.kilowattfestival.it\/en\/contenuto\/kilowatt-festival-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Kilowatt Festival 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Paradiso Adesso\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><em>If man sees it is possible to go further on a stage he understands it is equally possible to do it in<\/em><br \/>\n<em>life, and so he is encouraged to act<\/em> (Julian Beck)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\nThe words accompanying the 21st edition of Kilowatt Festival are a tribute to \u2018Paradise Now\u2019, the acclaimed play created by the American theatre company Living Theatre between 1968 and 1970.<br \/>\nWith this reference, we credit a generation that believed in the future while fighting in their present.<br \/>\nWe imagine, or perhaps hope, that this could be true for us now.<br \/>\nWe perceive a strong need for change, the desire for a new way of life.<br \/>\nWe must not lose the paradise that has already been conquered &#8211; never take it for granted &#8211; and at the same time we want to create a new paradise that truly is for everyone, especially for those who are currently being left out.<br \/>\nWe must have the strength to transform the \u2018nothing-will-never-change&#8217; mindset into creativity, constructivism, beauty, and optimism of the will.<br \/>\nAt the same time, we must remember that perfection does not exist: this is another radical thought that weakens our battles. After all, even a snake got into paradise&#8230;<br \/>\nWe hope that the days of Kilowatt will be full of energy, and that they will bring courage and perception.
