A live rereading of “De Rerum Natura” by Tito Lucrezio Caro, accompanied by readings and music, challenging and reaffirming rational thought. Lucrezio’s scientific insights come to light, successively developed in the modern era.
Piergiorgio Odifreddi (Cuneo, 1950) is a mathematician, logician and an Italian essayist. His writings, apart from mathematics, are about the popularization and the history of science. He taught at the Università di Torino, is a permanent contributor to La Repubblica and this is his first theatre performance.
