A jungle of microphones, a veiled space, from which you can glimpse at the shadows of Present. This time the bodies do not howl out. They fade into History. This show starts with UN –meant like a negative prefix, corresponding to the Greek alpha. It could be translated with: not. We come from the overfull Century and, looking at it from our couch, we feel emptied.
Balletto Civile was formed in 2003, founded by Michela Lucenti and since then it has been led by her, in collaboration with Emanuele Braga, Maurizio Camilli, Francesco Gabrielli and Emanuela Serra. During these years Balletto Civile won several prizes (ANCT National Critic Association Award in 2010 and 2012, 2011 Roma Danza International Award, My Dream Award) thanks to the company’s important researches in physical theatre. Since 2009 Balletto Civile has been on artistic residence at Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma.
